Bill proposes to expand controversial Florida Education Law which Critics Dubbed ‘Don’t Say Gay’

A House Republican filed a resolution Tuesday that would  extend instruction about sexual orientation and gender identity through 8 grade

 Expanding a controversial 2022 law that prohibited such instruction in early grades

Under Anderson’s bill, the “age-appropriate or developmentally appropriate” 

Testing would continue for ninth through 12th grades.

  Anderson’s bill would go beyond directive issues to address personal pronouns.

The DeSantis administration  isn’t satisfied with a hostile takeover of traditional public school 

Jon Harris Maurer, public policy director for Equality Florida’s   said in a statement

They envision a future where LGBTQ families have no school options to gain dignity or respect,”
