Board Presented Audit & Discussion PROGRAM with Consultations During Monday’s Meeting

Activities included an 8th-Grade trip to Washington D.C. & Extracurricular clubs such as the Green Team, Ski, Snowboard Club, Historical Book Club, Spirit & Service Club

A student Representative from Ridgewood High School Presented Events 

 including Super Science Saturday, Asian Fest, the Senior Fashion Show, a recent trip by selected students to Spain & Iceland, as well as the recent snow day

Other items discussed among the Board included an agreement with Dr. Michael D. Rettig

A school scheduling consultant whose services are being funded with ESSER fund

This was of concern to Dani, prompting a reiteration by Assistant Superintendent Stacie Poelstra

That the purpose of his visit was to remodel the program to “meet the post-COVID needs of the students”

Early later, convinced the board that “some of his methods are quite creative

During public comment, Ridgewood resident Jim Cosgrove addressed his concerns of alleged overcharging

By custodial managers for the rental of middle school gymnasiums his organization uses for basketball programs

The board agreed to give an update on the matter in the next meeting

In separate statements, parents Janet Riley & Peter Molton brought up concerns about the primary school world language & physical education programs
