Morgan Local School District plans at least 3 days of remote learning if a strike by classified employees beings on Wednesday, as Announced

Morgan Local Superintendent Kristin Barker said in an Emailed statement -"Our teaching staff will not be on strike"

“Our number one priority remains the student, and in the event of a union attack, we will continue their education

 If the strikes occur, The district will conduct distance learning Wednesday, Thursday & Friday with families notified 

 Whether buildings can be opened for in-person learning on Monday, March 6

Members of Ohio Association of Public School Employees Local 51 – which represents 101 non-teaching workers in the district

Including bus drivers, cafeteria workers, assistants & mechanics – plan to strike on Feb 17
