Students will Remain in Middle School but will work the same Schedule
As third and fourth Graders, Starting at 8:30 a.m. & Ending at 3:30 p.m.
There will be no Changes in the Schedule of classes Six and Seven in Middle School
Superintendent Micki Egli said the change Allows the district to "provide a safe Environment for Students
''Before they transition from childhood to adolescence'' (fifth grade) to test Independent Skills
They added fifth Graders "Benefit from the features & structures of Elementary school"
Such as recess and class parties, as they Learn during this period
The district also said the later start time for these students gives them more time for a healthy breakfast
And ,for parents to get them ready & on their way to school during daylight hours
